Hi, I'm Nicholas King.

I am a freelance illustrator and designer. Specialising in freehand ink work, my main artistic passions lie in the slightly bizarre & surreal. I love illustrating normal people, objects & settings with an askew, out of the ordinary flavour to them.

After completing high school with a photography scholarship, I attended Film School in New Zealand to study directing and scriptwriting. I have been working in the areas of writing, directing and editing in Television & Video Game production in Canada, Australia & NZ. Now I am focusing on my main passion - drawing.

My major influences include: Ralph Steadman, Quentin Blake & Jan Pienkowski.

I am available for any type of illustration or design work including tattoos and logos.

I currently reside in Auckland, New Zealand.
